Handsome Young Man Stoned To Death After Pursuit By Cultists In Benue (Graphic Photos)

A youthful Nigerian man recognized as Oniha Ragnar Donald, was on Monday, battered to the point of death by presumed cultists at the Modern Market region of Makurdi, Benue State capital.

Information gathered revealed that the deceased who worked as an agent at AIRTEL, was pursued by his assailants from somewhere else in broad daylight until he was caught up with at the market junction.

The assailants smashed the deceased’s head with stones and left him in the pool of his own blood where he eventually died.

Spokesperson for the State police command, DSP Moses Joel Yamu, who confirmed the incident, said that it was a suspected case of rival cult clash, adding that before operatives of the command could reach the place, the young man had already died. 

Yamu said the police got a distress call which suggested that some cult boys were fighting but that, “the boy was killed before police got there and his assailants also fled.” 

Meanwhile, friends have taken to Facebook to mourn the deceased.
